Tripple Layer Chocolate Cake

  • 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted


Step 1

In a bowl mix together the butter and the brown sugar until well combined. Beat in the eggs. Add the melted chocolate and the vanilla, mix until all combined.

Step 2

In a second bowl mix together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and the salt. In a third mixing bowl, mix together the milk and sour cream.

Step 3

Mix all the mixtures into one bowl with an electric mixer until well combined. Should be thick mixture. Scrape the batter into two buttered 9 inch cake pans and flatten the surface.

Step 4

Bake in the oven at 350f until you can put a wooden skewer in and it comes out clean. Around 30 minutes. Let it cool for 10 minutes, take them out of the pans then let them cool completely and add frosting of your choise! Enjoy
