Smoked Salmon and Dill Sandwiches

  • 8 oz. smoked salmon
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 tbsps. finely chopped fresh dill
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ loaf whole wheat sandwich bread (8 slices)
  • ½ loaf white sandwich bread (8 slices)
  • ½ red onion, minced
  • Salt and pepper


Step 1

In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese and dill. Then, squeeze half of a lemon, and season with salt and pepper. Stir and blend well. Set aside.

Step 2

Remove crusts from the sliced bread, and flatten each bread using a rolling pin.

Step 3

Evenly divide the cream mixture on 4 slices of bread. Spread the mixture evenly. Add smoked salmon and onions on top of the cream mixture, and seal each with another slice of bread on top. Gently press together. Broil for 5 minutes, until bread is slightly toasted. Enjoy!
