Grilled Portobello Mushrooms2017-07-30

- 2 portobello mushrooms, stems removed, washed and dried
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Place stovetop grill over medium high heat. Meanwhile, heat together oil and butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the lemon juice and garlic, and stir until garlic is fragrant. Set aside.
Brush mushrooms with the lemon garlic mixture. Set aside the extra mixture. Then, grill each mushroom, stem-side down, for 8 minutes. While grilling, brush the tops of the mushrooms with the lemon garlic mixture, and grill for another 6-8 minutes until mushrooms are tender and lightly browned.
Remove from grill and season with a little salt and pepper. Enjoy!
