- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- ½ stick of butter
- 1/3 cup whole milk
- Salt and Pepper to taste
In a large saucepan, place the potatoes. Add water enough to cover the potatoes, and sprinkle with salt. Boil for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender.
Drain the potatoes, and bring back to the pan. Mash the potatoes until there are no visible lumps.
Add the butter to the potatoes, and slowly pour the milk while continuously mashing. Once the texture is smooth and creamy, add a little pepper, and stir. Serve with steak or fried chicken. Enjoy!
