Deep Fried Squid

  • 200g cornflour
  • 100g rice flour
  • 40g garlic powder
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of chili powder
  • 350g baby squid, cut into rings
  • oil for frying
  • lemon for squeezing


Step 1

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Toss the squid in the mixture until every ring is coated.

Step 2

Heat the oil to 350f in a deep fryer or a deep sauce pan. Fry the squid rings for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on a paper towel and serve immedietly with a squeeze of lemon juice. Enjoy!
