Chocolate Mousse

  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 4 Egg Yolks
  • 3 Tblsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla
  • 7oz. Chocolate Chopped


Step 1

Whisk together the Egg Yolks and Sugar until it's fluffy, add 3/4 of the Heavy Cream. Cook the mixture over low heat while stirring for 3-4 minutes. Don't let it boil. Remove from the heat and add the Chocolate and Vanilla, stir until the chocolate has melted then remove from the heat and let it cool.

Step 2

Beat the remaining of the Heavy Cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold in a bit of the whipped cream at a time into the cooled chocolate mixture with a rubber spatula.

Step 3

Fill serving dishes of your choise, put in fridge for 6-7 hours until it sets. Serve with a topping of your choise.
